Trailaqua Activated Carbon Water Filter

Description

The active carbon filter completes our existing membrane filter. With our membrane filter you remove bacteria and with this active carbon filter you remove the rest of the contaminants.

This active carbon filter from Trailaqua can easily be screwed onto our existing filter with the supplied adapter.

With this filter you remove the following substances:

• Chlorine
• Bad taste
• Bad odor
• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)
• Heavy metals such as lead
• PFOS
• Pesticides and Herbicides
• Chemicals

flow rate

Our filter is known for its fast flow. Because activated carbon works better with a slower flow, we have also achieved this. For gravity filtration, this filter has a flow rate of 250ml/min. For the pressure method this is 750ml/min.

Combination with our UF filter

This filter is intended to work with our membrane (UF) filter. The supplied adapter can easily be screwed onto both filters. This way you make one filter from two filters. View the image for explanation.

Duration of use

We recommend using this filter up to 1500 liters of water (500 days). This depends on the pollution. The pores of the activated carbon become saturated as the contamination increases. Activated carbon cannot be backwashed.
